In Saint-Aygulf, the start of the new school year has a taste of sharing. On September 7th and 8th, 2024, the Giant Omelette Festival brings together residents and visitors around a spectacular, convivial and decidedly popular tradition.
This press release looks back on the history of this tradition which originated in Bessières and has been adopted in Saint-Aygulf since 1987. Egg hunt, races, ball, parade of brotherhoods and making an omelet prepared with nearly 12,000 eggs punctuate this great festive weekend, before its collective tasting in a pan nearly 3 meters in diameter.
