In the heart of Fréjus, the Théâtre Le Forum stands as a monument of contemporary elegance. It fuses the ancient heritage of the city with the modern lines of today's architecture. Recognized for its aesthetics and functionality, its architecture perfectly combines innovation and tradition. Designed to meet the needs of the CAVEM, Le Forum embodies a cultural meeting point. It offers a varied and lively program, where culture is experienced in all its diversity.

Forum Theater Frejus

The alliance of modern architecture and Roman heritage

The building of the Théâtre Le Forum is 70 meters long, 50 meters wide and 19 meters high. Its elliptical structure evokes the city's Roman amphitheater, symbolizing the harmony between past and present.
The façade, covered with aluminum panels, is crossed by large glass surfaces. This allows natural light to penetrate, creating a soft and dynamic atmosphere inside.
Metal sunshades suspended from the frame amplify the play of light.
Inside, the theatre offers 5 m² of space. It has a large modular hall that can accommodate more than 400 spectators.
The 16×16 meter stage includes a retractable orchestra pit. It can therefore host various shows: operas, ballets, plays, etc.

This exceptional place promotes accessibility to culture for all, with facilities adapted for people with disabilities and rehearsal spaces for more intimate productions.

An experiment

immersive

The technical aspects of the Théâtre Le Forum are remarkable. Indeed, its 146 piles ensure the stability of the building. They sink to varying depths, which demonstrates the care taken in the construction. The acoustics were also carefully thought out by the acoustician Capri. Thus, pivoting oak panels adjust the sound performance with precision. In addition, every detail, from the metal structure to the wooden panels, was designed to offer an immersive experience. The Forum, with its four floors and state-of-the-art equipment, is therefore a major cultural space. It offers a varied program, ranging from theater performances to concerts, exhibitions and other events.

The Forum Theatre is a true cultural beacon for Fréjus, a city where past and future meet under the spotlight of bold architecture and large-scale programming.
