Areca Park

The History of Areca Park

The Areca Park in Saint-Aygulf is a 3,5 hectare botanical garden by the sea, offering a peaceful and exotic getaway for visitors of all ages.

The name “Areca” comes from the genus of Areca palms, which includes several tropical species, including the Areca catechu, also called the betel palm.

This name was chosen for Areca Park because of the presence of a palm grove within the area, which highlights different species of palm trees, including the Areca.
