Handiplage in Fréjus, Base Nature: Easy access, equipment adapted for people with reduced mobility, access ramp, tiralo, and assistance staff.
The handiplage service welcomes you for a 13th consecutive summer! Labeled "4 buoys", the highest possible distinction, handiplage provides free support for entering the water for anyone who needs help with swimming. Thus, people with reduced mobility, in wheelchairs or with various pathologies can count on Anne-Sophie Grebert and her teams of professionals: two sports educators from the City, 3 seasonal workers and 6 volunteers.
The chalet, installed in 2011, provides a real anchoring and welcoming point. "A family and friendly spirit reigns here," emphasizes the disabled beach manager, Anne-Sophie Grebert. "All the locals and even the tourists come back year after year. Disability tourism has been created. Fréjus is well referenced in the region."

The site has many facilities: parking, terrace, furnished chalet, shaded terrace, audio-beach system for the blind and visually impaired, tables and chairs, adapted toilets, cabins, shower, hoist, a non-slip mat, a seahorse, 7 tiralos, life jackets, armbands, aquatic noodles.
