Plage République

Thanks to concrete descents, it allows easy access for people / children with walking difficulties, strollers and wheelchairs (up to the sand). Parking along the road. It benefits from a superb view of the old port of Saint-Raphaël with the highlight being the view of the Notre Dame de la Victoire de Lepante basilica and the Sea Lion. It is part of Fréjus Plage.

A cash machine is also located nearby.


Fréjus beach begins at the foot of the Pont du Pédégal and extends its mass of fine sand over more than 1 km, up to the Port of Fréjus. This large beach, reserved for swimming and sunbathing, is ideal for children. On summer evenings, under the coolness of the plane trees, a craft market enlivens the "Promenade" along the beach. The brand new roundabout, a mixture of water and Mediterranean plants, symbolizes the themes of this escapade that we offer you.

Safety: first aid station / Beach surveillance from mid-June to mid-September, 9 first aid stations, spread over the 4,5 km of beach, are open from 9:00 a.m. to 19:00 p.m. (from 10:00 a.m. to 18:00 p.m. in September), 7 days a week. The first aid stations are run by the Fire Brigade. They monitor the beaches and ensure public safety. Going to the first aid station also means finding out: • Water temperature and quality (display of bacteriological readings) • The marking plan • Safety at sea
