The Centre des monuments nationaux presents the exhibition “At the heart of History, a walking exhibition by SPEEDY GRAPHITO” at the cloister of Fréjus Cathedral from March 1, 2025 to May 11, 2025.
For the cloister of Fréjus, whose 14th century painted ceilings are a gateway to all sorts of artistic adventures, Speedy Graphito has imagined an exhibition consisting of:
– original works presented in the chapter house and in the cellar
– a stroll through the memory of masterpieces of art history, through large tarpaulins which will be placed on the first floor of the cloister
This stroll is a rereading of the masterpieces of art history through large “My Art History” tarpaulins printed color by color: the women of Tahiti, the lunch on the grass, the girl with the pearl earring, Mona Lisa, Dora Maar, the reader…
“Art is a journey of the heart, a lyrical escape of the imagination, a territory to explore where feelings draw the paths of escape.”
