A unique immersion into Napoleonic history.
On June 18, 1815, Napoleon fought his last major battle on the plains of Waterloo. Facing him was a coalition of several European nations poised to change the course of history. The Musée des Troupes de Marine invites you to relive this decisive confrontation in a spectacular exhibition, running from April 2 to December 10, 2025.
At the heart of the exhibition, a monumental diorama measuring 25 metres long and 6 metres wide brings the battle to life with more than 22 tin figurines, hand-painted by the artist-director and owner of this exceptional collection, Mr Leclerc.
The exhibition is not limited to contemplation. Thanks to innovative animation, visitors will witness key moments of the battle, through dynamic video mapping, sound effects, projections, a voiceover, and more.
An exceptional selection of objects from the 1st Empire will also immerse the public in the world of Napoleon's soldiers.

Designed for a wide audience, the exhibition will feature a game booklet allowing families and young visitors to discover one of the greatest battles in military history in a fun and educational way.
