Vignobles de Ramatuelle
An alliance sealed around the love of the vine. Since 2006, the cooperative cellar of Fréjus has joined the Celliers de Ramatuelle.
United by a passion for the land, the two wineries now work hand in hand, with the constant concern of producing typical southern wines, full of sunshine.
“Les Celliers du Sud”, with some 123 shareholder members and 350 hectares of vines spread across the communes of Ramatuelle, Gassin and La Croix-Valmer, are cultivated using sustainable agriculture, in order to respect the soil and the grapes as much as possible.
WINES
* Cuvée R – AOP Côtes de Provence.
A recent vintage that has met with great success, whether for the White, the Rosé or the Red.
– White: Rolle and Ugni Blanc. Pale yellow color. Fruity nose reminiscent of white peach. Powerful, balanced, fresh palate, reminiscent of the aromas perceived in the nose.
– Rosé: Tibouren, Grenache, Cinsault. Lightly salmon-colored rosé. Fruity and mineral nose. Same aromatic personality on the palate, nice balance. Silver Medal at the 2013 Avignon Fair Wine Competition.
– Red: Syrah, Cabernet and Carignan. These three grape varieties give this wine a ruby color, a complex nose and mouth, both fruity and floral (violet, blackcurrant, raspberry). Long wine in the mouth, present but pleasant structure.
* Special Cuvée – AOP Côtes de Provence. Rosé, Red.
– Rosé: Tibouren brings the typicality of this slightly spicy wine. Cinsault gives it lightness and finesse and Grenache gives it structure.
– Red: Purple color, wine already well developed. Aromas of macerated fruits and friendly mouth.
