The history of the event

Through "AMERICAN DAY", it is the National Holiday of the United States of America that is honored. July 4 celebrates the independence of the United States, proclaimed in 1776, at the heart of a war that lasted from 1775 to 1783.
It is a day of patriotism, marked by fireworks and parades. Americans gather to commemorate their nation's freedom and history.

I came to American Day 2024 for the first time, and what an incredible experience! A Harley-Davidson enthusiast for years, I was like a kid in front of the parade of motorcycles, each one more beautiful than the last. The atmosphere was electric, between the roar of the engines and the live concerts. And this burger… a real treat, the best I have eaten in a long time! This festival perfectly captured the essence of America, and I leave with memories full of my head and the desire to come back every year!

At the heart of the parade!

American Day, an event in the heart of Saint-Aygulf!

American Day, an event in the heart of Saint-Aygulf!

A true fishing village, Saint-Aygulf is a natural setting with multiple resources. The famous Esclamandes beach, recently recreated by poster artist Eric Garence, the Villepey ponds, where fauna and flora live peacefully, or the central square, where drinking coffee on a terrace is a daily pleasure: there are many charms of Saint-Aygulf.
Saint-Aygulf Square is a legendary place for seaside tourism on the Côte d’Azur.

This square hosts many events in the summer, each one different from the other. Musical evenings liven up the neighborhood, pétanque competitions make it sing with the impact of the balls on the field, while the giant omelette or the votive festival bring back to life its oldest traditions.
Defining Saint-Aygulf means giving it back its Provençal meaning with a dolce vita that is unique to it! An art of living specific to Provençal seaside villages, mixing tradition and modernity!

The Tourist Office strongly advises you to visit, especially on Tuesdays and Fridays, market days, when the stands selling local produce give this area even more life.
With American Day, modernity and internationalization arrive in Saint-Aygulf! The contrast between palm trees, sea, beach, azure sky and American vehicles leaves you speechless. Two days of total change of scenery just a few meters from the fine sand!
